Victoria Fyodorovna Azárenka was born on 31st July 1989, in Minsk, (then) Byelorussian SSR, and is a professional tennis player, best known to the world for winning the Australian Open on two occasions, while she also won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics held in London. Her professional career began in 2003.

Victoria spent her childhood in her hometown with her older brother Max, but moved to Arizona USA when she was 15 in order to pursue a career in tennis.
She made her debut back in 2003 on the ITF junior tour, joining Olga Govortsova in a doubles combination, and eventually winning one title. Victoria participated at that year`s junior Wimbledon, and lost in the semifinals to Ana Ivanovic. In 2004 she continued to compete at ITF tournaments, and finished the year at No. 508 on WTA singles.

The following year was quite successful for Victoria, as she won the junior Australian and US Grand Slams, while she also reached the semifinals of the WTA tournament in Guangzhou, China, in which she lost to Yan Zi, but defeated Peng Shuai and Martina Sucha.

She waited several years for her first title, as it came in 2009 at the Brisbane International, Australia. However, the same year she won three more titles, at the Miami Masters where she beat Serena Williams 6-3 6-1, and also defeated Carolina Wozniacki for the title at the US National Indoors, Memphis. Her tenth title was her first Grand Slam, the Australian Open in 2012, where she beat Maria Sharapova 6-3 6-0, and she defended the title the next year, this time defeating Li Na in three sets. Thanks to her great play, Victoria finished as No. 1 at the end of the 2012 season. She continued to play well through the 2013 season, winning the Qatar Open and Cincinnati Masters, but the next year was her unfortunate year, since she missed more than she played due to injuries. Nevertheless, she returned stronger and better in 2015, and reached Qatar Total Open finals, then in January 2016 won her first title in three years, at Brisbane International. Most recently she won the Indian Wells Masters and Miami Masters in 2016, which have only further increased her net worth.

Victoria is also a successful double player; so far she has won six titles, three of them with Maria Kirilenko, and one each with Vera Zvonareva, Caroline Wozniacki and Tatiana Poutchek.

She has been inactive since 15th July 2016, as she announced that she is pregnant. Regarding her personal life, Victoria is in a relationship with Billy McKeague, and she will give birth to their first child by the end of the 2016. Previously, she was in a romantic relationship with musician Redfoo, from 2012 until 2014.
